The company that was making it got dead'd, but the game itself was transferred to new ownership. But it is true that if this new company doesn't kill DNF by releasing their own crappy version of it, they'll toss it in a vault where it will gather dust forevermore.

On the other hand, most projects that I haven't started animating after 6 months get TRASHCANNED. This one is still on the to-Do list. It's all good.
