A few people have asked for inspiration/references for the voices, so here's a list for the canon characters. Pick as many quotes to imitate as you like, and add your own favorites from the show - or from your own imaginations - if you feel like it. I won't be releasing any audition material (or using it for blackmail), so don't be afraid to let loose and potentially act the fool! I know *I* will be if I have to recite anything the way I want it done, when the voice actors are cast. :lulz:

Let me reiterate that this is not a work-safe parody. Be prepared for swearing, sexual noises, bodily functions, that kind of thing. (Not all the characters have to do ALL of these things, though. But if your voice is close enough to the original character, you'll find out the worst of the terribly un-ponylike things you have to say and be given the chance to back out if it's not your cup of tea.)

Okay so I'm very unsure if any of these would work with my voice and/or accent. I dont know how strong accent i have but since ive learned brittish english I tend to have an accent, or so I've been told. I can def. hear an accent, but I'm sure if you ever heard my voice, I'd have an accent as well. It might work wit Rarity's voice tho.

Thanks for showing us your voice, Astridcrash! I can hear a little bit of an accent (Dutch?) but I'd still be amused to hear your Pokemon voices, even though I don't need any for Ponies. :)

I'm going to release a teaser soon, and open the floodgates for auditions on other websites as well.

My friends and I just saw your teaser and are very intrigued. In addition to your first post, would you also advise us to try and do voices for the expressions that the characters in your poster? Or just to completely make it up?

Right now in my mind from your picture I'm hearing Rainbow Dash as a sort of nympho and Twilight as having a sort of Charlie the Unicorn/Eeyore type attitude.

Is that what you would like us to try for?

Anything goes, really! At this stage I'm just hoping to hear which ponies the voice-actors can resemble. Round 2 of auditions will involve more of the characterizations in regards to my script. But there's no harm in anticipating that stage in your first auditions if you're inspired to take that route by the poster (which doesn't really give too much away in terms of spoilers, but it does hint at what's in store for the characters).
